Really excellent condition, no visible wear, no scratches, etc. maybe $325. A little wear, etc $275.

I'd assume it's a 4 inch bbl? A really clean 66 would probably bring about $425- retail around here. Used revolver sales can be a bit soft in some parts of the country...

The best place to get the value is to go to www.galleryofguns.com and click on the link to Blue Book of Gun Values. This is the industry standard book, and from there you can know to within a few dollars what the value is. Hope you enjoy the Smith. If you are a novice shottist, you may want to check out the link to Colonel Coopers rules of gun safety at Fr. Frog's homepage.

Go to GUNSAMERICA or Gunbroker.com and punch in your model and yada. See what they are listed for; that gives you a good idea about asking prices. Back off ten to fifteen percent and that will be todays sale price.

If you sell it yourself I'd say about $350 tops. It is worth about $350. But if you wanna move it you may need to sell it for a little less than that.
