I have a lot of experience with various rifles and shotguns, but I have never owned a hand gun. I want to get one with a lot of performance and quality, yet still inexpensive. In other words, I want a lot of bang for my buck. I have heard that HK are really good.

I answered the question Who thinks shooting Bunny rabbits should be made illegal and this was my answer...

When they run out of food because all the anti-hunters eat all the lettuce and carrots, we have to go kill some so they dont all die because they have no food. Get off the huntin section dipsh*t. And have you ever heard the phrase they breed like rabbits? A thumbs up to everyone who didnt say, leave the little fur balls alone! He e-mailed me and it said this...

Subject: Bunny rabbits.

I am somewhat saddened that you saw fit to resort to personal insult, which certainly does not further your arguement.

If anything, your lack of cohesive response would seem to indicate a lack of maturity and judgement, and I would question your suitability to be in charge of a firearm.

I replied and just had to be a smart a** and said im happy you feel that way. He reported me, amd my answer removed. Is that bull?

Handgun shooting. Would prefer something other than just plain paper target shooting. Is there any place where you can put out breakable targets, old phone books, melons, plates, etc.?

Is there any kind of league?

Preferrably south bay.

Looking to get a 1911 refinished, and I'm looking for something incredibly tough and low maintenance.

I've heard good things about Parkerization, Nickel, & even a Teflon like coating.

I want something that can stand up to constant abuse. Also I'd like the coating to be in OD Green if at all possible.

Any recommendations or tips would be appreciated.

If you hit a deer with your vehicle, can you eat the meat? Is the meat any good? I know they do this in Alaska with moose, but those are much bigger animals. And I'm not talking about scraping road kill off the side of the road, I'm talking freshly killed. I mean, if it's dead, it's venison, at least if you eat it, it served a purpose.

I've discovered two things.

1. That I really enjoy trap shooting. I'd always been a rifle girl in the past.
2. That it's hard to tell how I'm shooting "off". High, low, what???

Are the tracer rounds made for trap/skeet any good as a training aid? If so, do you have any recommendations on good brands?

Occasionally, in the countryside, I see people with air rifles shooting bunny rabbits.

I say stop this activity forthwith; leave the poor bunnies alone. What have they done to hurt you?

my question is did i make the right choice between the 4053tsw .40 smith and wesson? i could have purchased the ruger .45? i went for reliability and concealability. smith and wesson is reliable, hands down and is asthetically pleasing haha but so is the ruger in looks, very similar to a glock. i bought the gun used for $350.00 did i get a good deal and did i make the right choice???
