I just recently bought a nice knife. Mid-grade Buck knife. Mostly a hunting knife i guess. Nothing to fancy or expensive. I don't know much about keeping them sharp. Is there a proven sharpener? Proven strategy? Just looking for some suggestions.

The Glocks used by the NYPD have a 12 lb trigger pull. I've read statistics showing that the hit ratio of the NYPD is 15% while the LAPD has a 51% hit ratio with their Berettas that have a 5 lb trigger pull on the single action follow shots.

Don't you think that it's stupid as hell to put an EXTRA HEAVY trigger to prevent negligent discharges, I figured that the old 8lb trigger pull was bad enough.

I was looking at a Gun book and I seen a Hipoint pistol.I think it is the ugliest and bulkiest weapon I ever seen.I wonder what was going through the degisnes head when he was making this. There are other companies that make simmalar weapons like this as well. The only reason I can think of is they made it like that so someone cant just spend 150$and get a consealable weapon. But then again you can buy a cheap pocket pistol for 89$ I don't know. Why do they make these guns look so stupid?I would never buy one of these. But there almost has to be a reason why these are so big and stupid.

The other day at work I was talking to my friend about my Glock 21.Some other guy I didnt know butted in and said why do you have a Glock. They are weapons of terrorists. He said they can be smuggled on to airplanes.I called him a moron and all most got into a fight with him.I told him that glocks have metal parts in them and he told me If I really had a Glock Id know they were made of ceramic and pollamere.I asked him if they make ceramic bullets as well.I fell like taking my Glock to work just to show him that the barrel is metallic. And maybee pistol whip him a few times as well. Why do people belive everything they see on movies?

It occurs to me that seldom in recent memory have
there been so many anti-gunners yowling and yammering
at us. I think it's time to take a poll: Who is the worst of them
all?

I'd like you to consider three factors in making your decision:

1. Extremism of views.
2. Ability to do us real damage.
3. General loathsomeness of personality.

And so, here is your list of candidates. Please
choose only one.

o Mayor Michael Bloomberg
o Sen. Chuck Schumer
o Sen. Hillary Clinton
o Rep. Nancy Pelosi
o Rosie O'Donnell
o Sarah Brady
o Sen. Diane Feinstein
o Sen. Ted Kennedy
o Rep. Caroline O'Connor McCarthy
o A dark horse of your choice

I have been smoking meat for years but never once have I tried to preserve meat using a smoking technique of any kind.

Please tell me a legit process and maybe some good techniques/recipes for smoking a serious amount of meat that can be preserved for an extended time. I am requesting real solutions and hopefully dont get storeought crap for an answer.

I am building my own smokehouse this year and I want to make sure I do it right.

Thanks in advance!

We have had to put my grandfather into a home. We have come across an extremely old Smith & Wesson. All we have been able to find out is it is a .38 caliber manufactured in 1890. What is the value?

I, very seductively, asked him if I should put on my Rudolph ears (the headband for christmas) and he can dress up in his orange hunter hat and vest and "capture" me. Why didn't this work?

I inherited two model 11s one in twelve gauge and one in 20. I think they're probably from the 1930's. Im having problems with both jamming when ejecting shells (Both high and low brass 2 3/4) . Anyone know of a simple fix or should I see a gunsmith?

I was also curious if anyone made a slug barrel for a these guns.

Thanks
