I have had experience with revolvers and pistols in .22, 45 and 9mm but still have not found the gun for me. Any suggestions for a gun that I will use for target practice at a firing range that will best fit a beginner female with small hands? I do know that I want a pistol, just not sure on caliber or brand. Thanks!

For my next handgun I am considering either a Springfield XD or a Smith and Wesson M&P in 45 acp.

I am interested in hearing from people who have either fired these handguns and know about them or they own them.

If you have any knowledge of the difference in recoil this would also be a huge help to me.

Any knowledge you can bestow would be of a huge help to me.

Also, I know that the Springfield XD 45 acp comes with a 13 round magazine that you can extend to 15 if you want, but the Smith and Wesson only comes with a 10 round magazine.

That is a lot but I was wondering if they also made 13 round magazines for the Smith and Wesson M&P or not.

Clarity, brightness, contrast and adjustment. Im thinking of getting a 2.5-10 power 50mm objective and it has a 30mm tube with side focus PA knob. Your answer does not need to be on this type of model but would like comments on Nikon only.

I'm looking to get a highly accurate rifle that I can purchase for less than an arm and a leg. Around $500 would about top it out. Anything with cheap ammo is a plus. I would like to have the capability to hit point targets at about 800 - 1500 yards. It can be semi automatic or manually operated. Any suggestions possibly with links on specs and prices are a huge plus. Thanks!
