Why are people answering this question (are you for or against hunting) then asking the same question again. Do you people think (anti-hunting people) that we are going to change are opinions on the matter (not likely). Use people that are for hunting get it "you think hunting is cruel" and thats fine everyone has their own opinion. So why don't you all get together, go get a burger or chicken wings and complain to each other about how cruel it is to kill an animal

I'm looking for a round (and gun if you'd like to suggest one) that I can take with me when I hike so that in case I run in to a bear I can defend myself. This isn't for CCW, just for hiking, so size doesn't really matter.

I'm wondering if the above holster can hold desert eagles. If you don't know which holster it is, it can be found on amazon.com and shortyusa.com. On shortyusa.com, it's called UTG Tactical Black Shoulder Holster Rig With Mag Pouch and is on page 5 under accessories.

I know that this great weapon has a long, yet big history behind it, but compared to other .45's, the are REALLY expensive? Just curious.

Can anyone tell me whether buck shot out of a 12 gauge will completely blow a person's head off if they put the gun in their mouth? How about Steel shot? Will both of these shots be painless and will either of them not be powerful enough to end a person's life instantaneously? I got into an argument with my friend while doing this study and he claims that both of them leave a chance for survival but I didn't think either of them would. I argued that they both would end a person's life instantaneously and be rather painless. Can anyone help me? Thanks

The gun, clip and box of bullets was stored in a plastic grocery bag for the last 25 years and hasn't been shot. The clip was loaded but NOT IN the gun. Those bullets turned green so I removed them. Is it safe to reload with the bullets from the box (they look like new bullets) and is it safe to target shoot with the gun.????
It hasn't been cleaned or used in about 26 years.

I found a used S&W 9mm hammerless handgun at a local gun store. The model is either the 469, 3914, or a 908; i didn't get a good look at it and have only held once so i do not know the model. It was black, hammerless, and had a square looking trigger guard, not circular. It was priced at $400 and looked in really good condition, with maybe one (if any) scratches on it. The blueing was still in really good condition; I was wondering if this would be worth the $400 since I have only seen these models on the internet and no where else.

I am looking for a Browning Hi Power, preferably chambered in .40 S&W, but 9mm will also do. I want a two-tone black and silver version. Also, I am not looking to spend too much on it. Any ideas?
