I am in the market for a rifle with some history. I love the m1 but they are so pricey nowadays and the CMP is sold out for 7 months. Plus its a semi so I could not use it to hunt in PA. Or should I get a mauser. Great gun with alot of history that will have all the nazi markings and I would be able to use it for hunting. But ammo is expensive and rare compared to 30-06. Any opinions?

I have an Alpine Avelanche 60lb bow. I want to up my speed as much as I can. Right now I am shooting 325 gain arrows point and all and I am in the mid 270's in fps. I was thinking about the 5.5 grain arrows from High Country. They say that they will work from 35-70 lb bows. Can I use this arrow or will it screw up my bow or void my warranty by causing a dry fire effect?

I need help getting a value on some guns stolen from my dad.

The oldest was an 80 year-old Stevens .410 shotgun, break barrel single shot.

2 16 guage one double barrel, other a singleshot. About 45 years old each.

One 20 guage Mossburg, variable choke, bolt action with a 3-shell clip about 40 years old.

One .22 calibur single action pistol with 2 cylinders, one for short, other for long range bullets.

Can anyone help?
