winchester model 1897 magazine take down?

Question

I have a winchester model 1897 shotgun. I have found out how to remove the barrel and the magazine from the front of the gun and was wondering how to take appart the magazine in order to clean it. I need to remove the end cap, spring etc. How to you do the magazine appart in order to access those parts and fully clean out the tube?

when you remove the end cap the spring should come out on its own mine does unless yours has a clip or something holding it place look in the tube and see if you have somethng in it
