Will putting electrical tape (to protect from elements) on the end of a rifle barrel effect the projectile (shotgun,muzzelloader, normal rifle)? Or will the tape come off before the projectile even gets to that point due to the amount of force?

A friend of mine said he read a magazine article about a man taking down a lion with a .45 handgun. I have been on safari and have heard of lions charging through large caliber rifle shots, so I find it hard to believe a .45 handgun would do much. Any insights?

Hi. What firearms am I allowed to own in the UK. I am 25 but have a criminal record for stuff like afray, fraud and possession of firearms and counterfeit currency. All that was a few years ago. Anyway what is the most powerful kind of firearm could I legally own. I hate shotguns, because of bad range. So either a sniper rifle, assault rifle or a pistol would be best.
