Yes I agree. The image up top is 2 more deer coming into the yard.If it was a predator the deer facing it would be alarmed and would flee for safety.Nice photo of the deer and the avatar.I think the best answer to your question should be "You and I need to go hunting".

Look closely and you will see you are too late.
For there is one hunter there before you.
Look by the house, right hand corner.
Do you see it, That not a deer.
That is a Coyote shopping for a meal.
I go one farther and bet it’s not a vegetarian.
He is a true omnivore he’s going to have Venison and Corn.
Just wondering did you see the Coyote aka yodel dog before you posted the photo.
Now just right of the Coyote there are 3 Deer watching the hunter, hunt.
Just like vegetarians, cant leave a hunter alone!
I bet I get some thumbs down for that comment, Oh Well.

Just had to up date.
My Monitor is fine thank you for your concern, you may consider using ZOOM or getting an appointment with a reputable optometrist.
Only two things debatable.
Species of the predator, ears cupped forward predominant in both coyote and wolf,
There for you factor in body size.
For size comparison for the predator, Use the window pane not the deer 20 to 25 yards behind and right of said predator. He’s closer to the window.
But if you wont to shoot it and call it DEER, I don’t wont any of that venison!
The next item for debate, The number of deer 20 to 25 yards behind and to the right of the predator ( or if you prefer Omnivore deer) deer nearest garage or barn which ever you wish to call it counts a 1 (one)
The deer nearest the larger of the two mounds of snow counts as 2 separate deer, one facing to a right angle that you see only it’s hindquarters do to the fact the other deer is facing you obstructing your view I count as 2 (two) alas leaving the equation 1+2 =__ ?
Now the fact that ears are up on the deer’s show an alert posture, deer don’t run unless they feel threaten and the snow is not that deep, the deer have the advantage.
You might be amazed if you knew how many beer let you walk right past them with out moving a hair, you were not counted as a threat to them, why run.
This gives strength to the adage, Cant see the forest for the trees.
I bet some one will dispute my range assessment on the deer from said predator?

The herd obviously needs some management... too many does and not enough bucks. That could just be the family german shepherd gaurding the flock in the background. Interesting pic. I had a similar situation yesterday on a much smaller scale. A herd of 12 deer came out, but only 11 ran off. Didn't feel like dressing 2 deer or else only 10 would have ran off!

Somebody needs a better monitor. Those are more deer coming in from between the house and pole barn.

After saving the photo and zooming in on the "predator" that coyote will taste just the same as the rest in the picture.

As for the original question: With an avatar like that, I don't think my wife would let me hunt with you.

Wow! Impressive. Nearly as impressive as the avatar. Now, is that a wolf, or a coyote in the background? Gauging from the size (as compared to the deer in the foreground) I'm guessing it might be a wolf.
