Kodiak Bear, but you had better be on a fast horse.

Most 22 hollow-points are a waste of money, they don't actually travel fast enough to expand. But like any rim-fire 22 they are only for small game like rabbits, squirrel, house cats and lap dogs.

22 caliber long rifle is ideally suited to small gme . but it is also the weapon of choice for hir men as it is low in velocity and when it can penatrate the skull it wil simply bounce around inside the skull untill it stops a 22 will kill any living creature given the riight shot and trajectory

Anything. It just depends on what you want to accomplish. Shooting a bear with it will annoy the bear and may end up with you being invited for dinner with the bear. A perfect shot with a .22 can kill large game.

you can shoot anything with a .22LR. the bullet is more powerful then people give it credit for. I actually saw a .22LR take down a moose with one shoot (believe it or not itstill happened). A .22LR will accually bouce for more then a mile. But ethically I say stay with small varmint.

Anything.

However, a .22LR of any kind should be limited to target use and small game unless need be. (if your being attacked by a bear...well, its better then clubbing him, if your attacked by a human, its also better then clubbing) but its not the calibre for these kinds of things. Stick to targets and small game.

I would say that it would depend on who or what you were pointing the rifle at at the time, but let's say if you had a bottle in front of you then I would go for the bottle.
