I am tired of going to "hunting" forum to talk about ALL guns. I tried to use the Answers blog to request a special section and it was not even posted. Do you guys think us non-hunters/non-ccw gun owners should have our own section? I think so.

Bound's hubby here:

It would be great if they created a "shooting sports" category for us. But considering how anti-gun the world has become we should consider ourselves fortunate that we have what we do. I have seen many good non-hunting questions asked and answered here. I think people know where to turn for advice... now only if they would create a category for the airsoft folks!

Yes, that would be nice to have a Firearms section...I wouldn't be too specific about marksmanship/plinking/non-CCW... Just firearms, to cover basic firearm and shooting sport questions (trap, skeet, SC, target, plinking, etc., etc..)..

I don't hunt or have any desire to, but a day at the range is fun! Spending a day in the woods to take one shot, then dragging a dead animal that weighs as much as I do out of the woods isn't my cup of tea...I have no objection to anyone else doing that...but I'm a target shooter..not a hunter.

I'd like a category for the Airsoft crowd as well. The idea of kids shooting at each other and it being listed under Hunting just creeps me out completely.

Sure that might work, they could put it under "sports" or "misc."

that would be awesome, but you know that there wouldn't be enough questions or answers to keep it alive.
