Are there any observable differences between cod and haddock fillets? I need to know because our grocery store mislabeled it and one of my dinner guests got sick (haddock allergy).

Just wondering what your experiences have been with this club? Their accounting department seems to have some serious issues and I'm pretty tired of going to the post office to return all the stuff they send us to view. We've asked them several times to stop sending the stuff, but it continues. Anyone else had this experience? My husband loves the magazine, but I'm tired of dealing with them........

took my new 870 exp apart for cleaning easily. but reassembly has been impossible so far (2 hours). the bolt carrier is hanging up on something that it just wont get past enough to finally fall into place. the forend slides without the bolt and carrier will allow it to go all the way back in but once I put the bolt and bolt carrier on the slides to slide it all back in, the carrier keeps hanging on something. PLEASE HELP!!!!!

My husband and his friend made reservations to go camping. The camp site is four hours away from where we live. It is supposed to rain really hard tomorrow night. So they want to leave Saturday morning and come home Sunday. I think it is stupid to drive four hours, unpack all the camping equipment, stay one night and then pack everything up and come home the very next day.

What do you think?

I know that the barrel diameter of 44mag and the 444 Marlin are the same.

Since they are both straight-walled cases, can the 44mag then be fired from a rifle chambered for the 444 Marlin? Will the case bases match as well?

A summer camp has contacted me about teaching kids how to use air rifles. Safety, responsibility, respect and concentration are all valuable lessons to be learned.
The kids will be 14-17. They will be on public assistance or working poor. They will be white, black and hispanic, probably some other ethnicities as well, but no distinct majority. They will be from a small city that has seen better days.
I have a budget of $500 for equipment and $250 for supplies, maybe a little more.
First and foremost, I was thinking a way to secure the guns. They have lockers, but I'd also add gun locks.

All the participants will need safety glasses:

We'll have 3 traps so three shooters can shoot at once:

Of course there will be fun stuff:

could someone please explain caliber to me? why is a 30-30 a smaller caliber rifle that a 270, while a 45 caliber pistol is a larger shell than a 38? and then how does a 9 mm figure into this? is it a difference between english and metric system, or what? also, could you add something about how far a given shell will travel and compare that with impact it hits with. does that even relate to caliber of the gun? thanx! jk.

What large rifle would you reccomend for shooting deer, moose, bear and other animals of that size with the least amount of recoil. I was thinking about the Browning .300 WSM.
