280, 30-06, any of the 300 mags , i hunt deer with my 280 exclusively and they are awesme its a thompson with a custom 26' barrell that is extremly accurate, i have owend many 30-06's and cant knock them either, i have a nice 300 win mag that hits like a ton of bricks , but most rounds for it arent designed to properly expand on light skinned animals, but if i were only gonna get one rifle I would go withe the .280 the ballastics with the right load hit harder and shoot flater than the. 270 and the 06'

By "bear", are you thinking black bear? Or the much larger and meaner grizzly /brown /Kodiak?
If you are thinking black bear: the 30/06, using the correct bullets in your cartidges, would be fine for all the animals you have listed. Recoil is not that bad. Easily found bullet weights run from 150 grain to 220 grain.
If you are thinking the larger bears, go with at least a .338 or even something larger. A 300 WSM might put one down, with perfect shot placement. I would not want to risk my life on it or take the chance of a wounded bear gettting away.

30:06 for anything in North America and even less could be used for deer ,however lower grain for deer in your 30:06 and something like 180 for moose and bear.

I have a Winchester 7mm WSM. Wouldn't trade it for anything and it has plenty of knockdown power. Exit wounds are the size of two fists.

The 30-06* is all you need with a heavy grain bullet, preferably Hornady Brand.*
