I personally own (2) CZ 452's , one in 22LR and another in 22WMR. I love them BOTH...They are without a doubt one of the BEST Rifles available. With the exception of Squirrels the 22WMR rifle makes an excellent hunting rifle, and one of my favorites for shooting Coyotes,Groundhogs, Fox and other varmint hunting . Match it up with a decent adjustable power scope and you are set. What you are hearing is the truth..not hype. I have sold at least 20 of these rifles thru my Gun Shop, already this year and ALL of my customers rave about how accurate it is. There is no other rifle of such quality of manufacture made here in the US that compares to other imports costing literally hundreds of dollars more, and can't match CZ's quality or workmanship or accuracy, regardless of caliber...........

I have several pistols manufactured by CZ and can't wait to get a 452, they are beautiful rifles and excellent shooters. It's been on my list for a while but something else keeps coming up.
My range has a silhouette club that shoots rimfire every other weekend. Besides the incredibly expensive target rifles, you see a lot of CZs and just a sprinkling of American brands.

They are the absolute best rimfires in the $275-$350 price range. Tghey are even better quality than some rimfires that cost more. The firing pins are built to the same quality as centerfire firing pins and spare parts for safe keeping (screws-in case you mar them) are so easy to get. Only cheap czech labor could make this possible. If these rifles were from Germany or the USA, you would pay double.

CZ rifles are not the best by any means, but they certainly are exceptional value for money. There are no rifles in this price range to compare with them. I must agree with the other postings, HV 22 ammo like Stingers are far cheaper to use than magnums.

I have shot a couple of cz 22LR and have no complaints
I personally would get a 22LR instead of a WMR because of the price of the shells and the 22LR can and does do a fine job on rabbits and such

They are among the best rim fires. But... I would rethink your choice of the .22 WMR. The cost of the cheapest ammo is any where from $7-10! While you will have $1.75 /box for .22lr. If I were you, I would definitly go with a .22lr version.
