When going hunting, warmth is very important. I have yet to buy an orange vest, but because of the cold, im leaning away from the thin bright orange vest, and Im thinking warmer. Can I just wear an Orange Down Vest instead this time, its my second time hunting, last time i was freezing. So Can I just buy a nice warm down vest in stead of a small orange vest, thanks.

There is a man who is going to illegally hunt on my property his deer stand is near the property line. He took down my fence to plant a 40' by 8' section of "deer oats" then put the fence back up, all to attract deer. Short of calling the Game Warden, I'm looking for some more...creative...ideas for keeping the hunter and his son away.

I have a set of horns that are polished and mounted that I assumed were bull horns. I've done searches for them but can't find any that look like the ones I have. I have a picture on my computer, but the only way I can explain it is that they seem darker and curve more than the bull horns I saw. Anyone know much about them?

I recently bought a Remington 870 Express Magnum. A coworker told me that if I want to shoot deer slugs, I will have to get a different barrel from the stock barrel. Is this true?

I just purchased a .357 mag s&w j frame model 360. I was really curious how other owners felt about this awesome little gun . I'm going to use it for concealed carry. i'll use 38+p's at the range and 125 gr. .357 magnum loads for carry . i've actually shot derrringers with .357 mag so i'm not really worried about it. s&w tells me the gun will take .357 mag all day long with out a care. i've already got a hogue monogrip installed- feels great - and the trigger action is really awesome. any ideas on synthetic concealed holsters starting with shoulder carry. curious to know what other owners feel about their scandiums after a while of use . i hear reliability is also great with these guns. any info greatly appreciated-thanx!!!!!

I'd like to chat with someone who really knows the ins and outs of flyfishing for trout and steelhead in the lower yuba river from the hwy. 20 bridge to sycamore ranch. Myself and two freinds fished it yesterday and caught some really hard fighting rainbows from about 16 to 20 inches, they fight so hard I assume these are juvenile steelhead. But it wasnt easy fishing, Really tough river to figure out so someone please help me !

ok so i have been reading on yahoo answers all these reviews and opitions on glock handguns, and i found that people would reather go with the 9mm or the .40 caliber but everyone one has there favorite model. i also found out that alot of there choices were bases off the person experiences with shooting, but i'm a U.S. Marine thats not a issue here, my question is which caliber i should go with and what model in order to use this wepond in self-defence.

any ideas?

I was thinking about buying a $20 knife from Wal-Mart. What is the difference between a $20 knife and a $60 knife? What makes an expensive knife expensive?

OK. I need to get a hand gun for protection at home. I want something that if I need to use it, it will do damage-no matter how bad my aim is. I am not experienced, but will be getting lessons, etc. Is semi-auto better for me or a revolver?

I just got my daughter a Kryptonic skatebaord package , the kind from Target. I figure since she wants to start learning, it would be a great starter baord. Nothing pro.....yet. I used to skate also, though, I might get back into it, maybe long boarding, idont want to break into peices lol. Since now, depending on manufacturer, skatebaords are all almiost the same, despite the quality of bearings and trucks, I dont think my daughter needs a pro quality fast bearings just yet, she still needs to learn how to balance on one anyways.

I think this rifle is a standard carbine--it has an octagonal barrel, the caliber is .38-55, serial number 69155, and it is in very good condition. According to one online source it was manufactured in 1896. My great-grandfather bought it around 1900 and it's spent most of the last 5 decades in closets.

Thanks very much for any information--Denny
