I made a self bow ,no reflex or recurve, and its only about 8 or 9 pounds.

will wooden dowels with a whittled points and fletchings made out of two pieces of tape work?(Im not crazy about the tape, ive seen an arrow shoot 70 feet with them)

my friend told me that there is a german made 9mm pistol that when fired, the bullet has the same velocity even underwater?

What does a 9mm bullet do? I have a friend that was shot in the chest, I guess point blank, 15 times. I can't imagine what that did to her, and I've never been able to bring it up to ask. Her husband is in prison for life, of course. But did it blow her apart? I know the first one pretty much killed her. But, was her chest blown apart, or just small holes, or what?

I just need to know. She was only 34.

My friend found a single stack 9mm stainless steel pistol in his aunt's attic. It must have been belonged to the previous home owner. On the side it states "Catron", "9 mm", "Military and Police" and no serial # (manufactured without it). It has a fixed barrel and there is no play when you rack the slide. When retracting the slide only the rear portion of the slide moves in order to cycle the cartridge. It is missing the magazine and what would appear to be the safety. Has anyone ever heard of this pistol. If so, we need to see if we can get parts for it and try to determine it's value.
