A laser sight sends a beam of light to the target, actually putting a dot (red or green) on the spot you are sighted in for. A red-dot sight is like a scope, no or low magnification, and the dot stays in the tube. With both eyes open, the shooter superimposes the dot image onto the target.

well a laser sight obviously uses a laser to project a visible "line of sight" targeting and shows a "red dot" on your target that everyone can see, even the target (showing you that you have a clear shot and where the bullet will impact) laser sights are effective is low light situations. A red dot sight is a a optic in your sight itself that shows you where the bullet will impact but does not show on the target, meaning the target is not aware of anything. A laser sight is a very useful tool in Psych Ops because the target knows there is a rifle pointed at him and even if he is hiding behind something or someone he still knows that there is a clear shot that will hit them...

hi there, a red dot sight gives you a red aiming point in a sight tube, and can be seen only from your end of the gun , a laser sight projects the red dot onto the impact point of the target, both sights adjust the same as a standard scope,the red dot has a adjustment wheel for the intencety of the dot you see in the tube so you can brighten it for sun light or lower it for lower light days, hope this helps

Red dot sights are just scopes that project a red dot in the center of the scope and when you dial it in, they are very accurate. Laser sights are just pointers like flashlights that mount to the gun and point a small laser beam outward of the gun acting as a guide for aiming the gun.

red dot sites, often called lasers, can project a red dot onto something from a long distance.
lasers use very intense light to burn and cut through things and are very difficult to acquire
so you can either get a red dot sight to assist your aim or a laser gun which hasnt been invented yet
