Like, do I need a specific kind of lever handle, or is it something in the internal mechanics, or both maybe?

I'm getting an IAC model 87w lever action shotgun (they are similar) for my birthday, so I'd like to know.

What are the pro's and cons of both these guns? I hear good things about them more about the springfield....

which is better for target shooting and really accurate? I'm looking at 9mm or .40..

Price don't matter...and no Glocks...It has to be one of these 2....

opinions anyone.....

I read many articles online and found them saying the Romanian AK-47s are poorly made, is it true? In what way are they poorly made? What is the difference between Romanian made AK and other AK?

I submitted my idea today. I decided to get rid of the steel plate in my first draft, I am just going to shoot gelatin.

For the gelatin I am going to get regular Jello and just use more Jello than normal resulting in a more rigid gel. Hopefully it will keep its shape OK if I make it thick enough. I have also considered packing the Jello stuff into a plywood box similar to how it was suggested with the phone books. The phone book idea is great but since gelatin is clearish I can photograph the results easier and more clearly.

That is what I have given them so far, I can still revise for a while so if anyone has any good ideas speak now or sometime soon.

For those of you telling me to check with my teacher, what I have been working on is the approval form. She can accept my idea, tell me to change it a little, or totally reject it... we will see. If it is rejected it is because of her personal bias since I am in compliance with the district guidelines.

Please provide all and any details with your answer. I am in a debate on whether a .177 co2 pistol with 430 fps with any type of pellet (superpoint, wadcutter, hollow point, etc) can kill someone or seriously injure them. Thanks

OK - First I want to say I appreciate all the feedback I've received on this question. Second, I want to apologize to anyone I've offended with what I had to say. I didn't have enough space to write everything I wanted, including knowing about barrel harmonics, differences in velocity, bullet weights and designs, etc. I've studied all this for years, trying to be the mad scientist making the perfect load, screaming with joy when I find it. Then I get an answer like the one I reacted to, and it just set me off, like he looked it up on Wikipedia or read it on the back of an Airsoft Box. So, I'm sorry....
Now, I'm still confused. I've floated my barrel. I've always accepted that different ammo reacts differently. Cheek-weld is the same. Squeezing the trigger the same. Breathing out half-way and fire. Etc. I guess I have to accept that I don't like that ammo and need to get reloading today so I won't encounter that again.

I will hike up to 9,000ft on day 1 and spend the night there. Continue to the summit the next morning and back down to ground level by mid afternoon. I will fly at about 8pm for about 2.5 hour, reaching altitude 30,000ft. Is it safe?

ive always been told the most accurate round is a .308 win magnum ive been looking to get a rifle with a little more range then my ar. i thought maybe a cheep sks and an old scope laying around or an old 7 or 8mm mauser wich i can find for a lot less then the .308. vut im not sure maybe an old einfeild or something. just wondering if anyone had an opionion on it keep in mind i live in the city with people being my primary game with the thing so 50cal or a 460 wthrby would be a lil much im not killin elephants.

The rifle is chambered in 7mag and is left handed. It is in great condition with a scope, Burris scope, don't know the specs. There is no rust on the weapon and maybe a couple of scratches on the stock. Normal wear. It is a wood stock with a light barrel. If anyone can help that would be great. Thanks.

I'm looking at buying an AK-47 before the evil ban around the corner thats probably going to come up. I've always wanted one but now I'm more serious into buying one with the upcoming election thats going to clinton up the gunlaws again. So now my question is whats the difference? LoL there's 100 different AK's on the market from USA, romanian, hungarian and more. Whats a good make? These WASR-10's or russian seem to be cheaper but really is there a difference besides a bayonet lug and furniture coloring and stocks? I'm looking to put some little add ons like a surefire light and maybe an EOtech site. I know more about the AR's than the AK's.

My father gave me a Remington 740, that was given to him years ago. It is in nice condition and has a scope, I was wondering about what it would be worth. Thanks for the help.

or
do you have to constantly keep clicking the trigger in order for it to shoot?

in the Gulf of Mexico, around the Galveston area, and you catch some big fish, are you allowed to keep them and take them home, packed on ice.???? In some of those Saturday morning fishing shows, they always turn them loose.
If I was going to spend that much money, I'd want to have some fish to take home.

I ask because I inherited one, it's an antique, and I want to take the necessary precautions when setting up a shooting range. I know they aren't very powerful.
