Ahh, Injun what a politically correct answer. And I must agree with you. Although, I am sure some of the guys will answer this question "no". I am better than some men, but not as good as others. I really don't think gender has anything to do with it.

I just got in an argument with my husband over this answer. His first response to your question was "no". I won't list his reasons. Of course he answered that way because he knows that he has an awesome wife with a passion and talent for fishing, and that I am an exception.(he forgets all of the times that I outfished him, lol - selective memory). I love you honey, I bet you forgot who dropped that 8 pointer too, lol.

There are a lot of women that fish (and hunt), but we are so outnumbered by men. I cannot say yes or no to your question. Some women are better than some men, and some men are better than some women.

I hope YOU get to go out fishing, and have lots of fun, and catch lots of fish.

Have a great night :-)

EDIT:
Goldenfeather, I LIKED your answer too. But I have very little patience. Where does that put me????? I bet your wife doesn't bug you every day that she wants to go fishing (or else!!!!). Joe always says I have the greater passion for it. (Obsession is a better word). I haven't been out fishing for the past 4 days..... I am getting cranky!

IN some situations I would say yes women are better than men. When it comes to being patient and being able to slow down when required. At lest it seems that way with my wife out fishing me at times when a slower pace presentation is required. Just my observation and have had some fishing guides tell me the same thing.

some days yes, some days no,Ive been out fished by my wife fishing trout. But depending on the size of the women, it could be a different story. say for example fishing Mexico on a three day trip I hooked a 250 lbs yellow fin tuna I'm 200 lbs I fought the fish for 2 hours and a times when it started to run it was enough to bring me to my knees like to see a 90 lbs women land this fish it took 3 gaffs to pull it through the side rail door of the boat

Are you referring to any particular woman or any particular man? Details are the spice of life.
