Ok, obviously NFL Football is #1 in the U.S. but what are the #2 thru #5 most popular sports? not YOUR favorites...but base it on "popularity

(Nascar? baseball? basketball? hockey? golf? tennis?)
...oh and does soccer crack anybodys top 5? i know its populary worldwide, but does it crack the top 5 in the U.S.?

Has to be currently...
I mean Talent wise complete and feared, and that when he is in another team, you’ll probably double, triple team him!

Someone who, most of the time/always, has a descent mid-range jumper, and plays better defense. Good at Shorting 2s, 3s, free throws, clutch player, respects the beautiful game and dunks you name them!

Please, is there anyone who even comes close to this description?

Please explain your take….

IN my opinion New York hands down. The Yankees are the toast of the town, same with the Rangers, Knicks, and Giants. The Jets and Mets have some fans too but not as many as the Yankees, Rangers, Knicks or Giants. They are loved.

I'm going into ninth grade this year and i want to play a sport for my school. Im not very good at sports but i really want to give one a try because all my friends are crazy about them. the sport i could think of that i might be good at was track/cross country. Im not a very good runner ( my mile is about 11 minutes!! ) and at five miles per hour the most i can run is about 1.75 miles. can somebody give me a running plan please? i also need to lose about 5 pounds ( in no rush. maybe about losing a pound a week ) so can someone give me a weight loss plan also? Thank you all so much in advanced!!!!

do you think there is a fundemental difference in the way americans see sport and the rest of the world see it?
generally, the rest of the world watch a sport, football for example, for the pleasure of the sport itself - 45 minutes each way and 15 minutes for half time and thats your lot.
on the other hand, american football - apart from the fact that its a stop/start game anyway -( how long is an average game?) - you get the 'entertainment' cheerleaders / half time stuff.-
what i trying to say is that i think an american audience has lost what the bare bones of your sports are about - the game itself - by becoming distracted by the razzamatazz that accompanies it.

Chicago comes to mind. No offense to Philadelphians, but I would complain to the Mayor. Clean up your city.
