Getting sponsored, even by from the easiest company, is hard work. Obviously, you'll need to know ALL the basic tricks, (kickflip, pop-shuvit, 180's, grinds, boardslides) and you'll have to be able to take them DOWN things, or on huge gaps at skateparks. It doesn't really matter if you can land basic, or even advanced tricks on the flat ground, many people can do that, but the part that gets companies interested is you applying those tricks to the city streets. Good luck.

It's not the ability to jump, it's the ability to land that counts.
Most skaters can do basic tricks. The ones that get sponsored are the ones who are able to land and keep going.
Practice, practice, practice. Land it, dude!
