Started in grade school. small schools and just about every guy was on every team. So in H.S. it was natural to play football, basketball, baseball, track and field, and wrestling.
Lost interest after a while though, it quit being fun and too many of the guys were just too much into physical contact. Had my doubts about what is now called the "orientation" of the coaches.

As a kid, I played B-Ball on the streets of Queens, NYC all day all night. I practiced so much that I got good and played varsity high school basketball. For me, it was play basketball during the summer or go to Mets games. Went to Mets game, but played B-Ball more often.
