as you may know in america football is called soccer. this is because football in america is some other random sport. american football has nothing to do with using your feet. football is older than america.

i have a plan that maybe someday we can change soccers name to football and force american football to change its name to something else. but i need help.

im only 15 and i dont know how to creat a web site (other than myspace) or deal with legal things. so i need someone to help creat a site. there people could sign a petition or something. eventualy someday we could force this change. we would need a certain amount of signatures and talk to the "NFL" and the "MLS" about this and so on and so forth. so please if someone does creat a site to help this cause post it here as an answer and let people know about it. or if someone already has created one then please post it here.

Thank you for all your help.

There must be thousands of these simple-mindedly scripted films about Baseball, Basketball and (American) Football underdogs who win through at the last minute against all odds. Hate to tell you guys, but after seeing England in the last Rugby World Cup, that really puts it all into context.

And by the way, nobody outside the US (and possibly Canada) gives a damn about those games you're so obsessed with.

Baseball: On one coast you have A-Rod splattered all over back pages not for his stellar MVP season, but for sitings with call girls and strippers (as a married man w/a child.) On the other coast we have a sacred record about to crumble at the hands of a known cheat.

Basketball: The game was struggling to keep fans attention as it were, and now they have had the entire league's integrity questioned. Ref's shaving points? Organized crime involved? Federal investigation? Embarrassing and disgraceful.

Football: Speaking of federal investigations, there's Michael Vick. Don't forget about PacMan Jones either.

Hockey: No one is even watching, so who knows what's flying under the radar, but every year new teams have bankrupcy rumors. Despite trying to shake up the rules, it seems that most people just don't care about this game.

Now I'm pretty young, but I can't imagine a sadder state of affairs. Even Pro-Golf has come under steroid scrutiny!

Does it get any worse than this???

This question goes out to geniuses out there. Are you a genius because you were naturally gifted and there is nothing average or below average people can do. Or was it that you worked hard, focused and were determined to be a genius. I believe that there are some people who are naturally skilled, but I also believe that hard work and determination can also get a person who is not naturally gifted up there also. Thank you for good answers.

I am trying out for cheerleading. I know the splits and can do the jumps, yet I struggle with a cartwheel (i need to do a roundoff, but I can't even master a cartwheel!!!)

Please give me some tips on perfecting a cartwheel and roundoff

If you also know any stretches or tips for getting your jumps higher, please tell me.

I am working on my middle splits, so if you can tell me some good tips and stretches for learning that, please include that.

For me it has to be golf. That is just the most ridiculous pointless waste of time ever. Cricket is generally crap except once in a blue moon like the Ashes 2005. Motor Racing is cool (F1) but Rugby is rubbish and all Amercian sports are total crap - e.g. american football, baseball, basketball. Tennis is crap too in the main except Federer Vs. Nadal.

Basically, football (and only the premiership and the champions league) is the only sport worth watching with a bit of Formula 1 thrown in as well. Anyone agree?
