This question goes out to geniuses out there. Are you a genius because you were naturally gifted and there is nothing average or below average people can do. Or was it that you worked hard, focused and were determined to be a genius. I believe that there are some people who are naturally skilled, but I also believe that hard work and determination can also get a person who is not naturally gifted up there also. Thank you for good answers.

I took an AGP test, that measures IQs I am 12 and my IQ is around 130. I was born gifed. I walked, talked and did other things at a young age. My bro, on my other hand has Dislexia and he has trouble learning. But now, that he's worked so hard, I consider him a genius like me. I . too agree with your hypothesis

OK, I'm in Mensa, the high IQ society. Genius is a funny word. There are all sorts of types of intelligence. Smart people do stupid things and have bad thoughts and ideas. And "dumb" people come up with good ideas.

I think you are born with a certain amount of potential, and it's up to you to fulfill it. I wouldn't call it genius when you get to the end of the trail, but I might call it success.
