Just look at baseball basketball and football what happen to the good old days when this never happen?

I think the money and pressure to perform is getting to the players head

When the salary that should be spent on education is being spent on thugs who can outperform you in sports, you get illogical behavior from the affluent.
Sports athletes should be on a fixed salary cap (not counting the endorsements), and the owners should have a fund to take care of retirees when they beat themselves up playing for the team owners. That way the system pays for itself.
Take pride in what you do and the money is second nature.

there have always been these problems, the media is just so strong now that it is too hard to down play these scandles...
