I like the Lakers' Sunday white uniforms and the 49ers' home red jerseys and gold pants, but my favorite would have to be the Dodgers' home whites... simple, classy, pristine white with that deep Dodger blue. What about you? Feel free to consider college teams too.

Hello All,
My daughter recently made her middle school cheerleading squad. And she gets so frustraded that she can't do the splits. She doesn't want me to ask her coach about any types of streches she can do to help her out. I'm not any help, so I though I would ask out here. If you have any answers, please tell me. Thanks.

My nominees are Barry Sanders on the Lions,
Alex Rodriguez in Texas,
and LaDainian Tomlinson for the Chargers (a few years ago)
I guess the NASCAR fans could think Dale Jr on DEI

What do you think?

The question relates to US sports athletes only. Also, the scope of the question implies athletes that once had great financial gains in their respective sport to literally losing it all.

i want to be more active than just sitting on my butt all year watching tv and chowing down on food thts gonna make me fat.( i am not fat btw, i am slender) but anyways, i want to do something year-round excluding swimming. so whats not SUPER expensive but farely affordable. i was thinking cheerleading, but i dont want my parents to have to carry the burden to pay the bills tht come with cheerleading like uniforms, trips, injuries, outfits, makeup (if applicable) shoes. plus the cost of tuition. so any ideas? i am in 8th grade, not too athletic but would like to be, i am tall, slender, and i am willing to put my heart into it if i really enjoy it.

Baseball, football, and cycling are obviously out. The same for swimming (recall the East German women from the 1970s) and track events. Am I limited to synchronized swimming and rhythmic gymnastics?

I'm doing a project for a potential employer, and I need some opinions.

When this event (not going to name it) was first created, it was a Fun Run in May.

The second time it was held, the Fun Run was in April.

Neither held very good numbers.

Being in the Kansas City area, I am thinking that a fall-based Fun Run would be more efficient as high school cross country runners could participate.

Also, I was thinking it may be nice to hold it in conjuction with a large event in the area, such as the season opener for the Chiefs. Since they would play on a Sunday, the event could be held on a Saturday.

Thoughts?

In other words: what do you see as being the best and most profitable time to hold a Fun Run for a nonprofit organization?
