Its an exercise that requires good technique.
I did tai bo for 4 months and ate a well balanced diet and the weight dropped off.
That said however, I also suffer from a bad back and knees due to my poor technique.
I did them at home so I was not shown how to do the moves properly to avoid injury.
I have just started doing it again once a week and i have changed my technique a little to try and concentrate more on doing it properly as opposed to just doing it as fast as the people and billy do it on the DVDs.

It's a way to exercise that billy Blanks made famous.
