I'm a college hockey player and recently find myself in need of a boost of energy, that extra burst of energy just isn't there right now and want to know ways I can get it back (from previous seasons), Im only 21 so know it's not from getting old. Im working out and skating about 10-15 hours a week and am not on any supplements. Please help!!

Every time they look like they are doing well they just seem to fall apart. Granted, they played some great teams in the playoffs last year, but the Hurricanes really took it to them. I am going to move out of Buffalo if they aren't able to hold it together. Maybe I'll be Carolina fan instead.

i play hockey...and quite obviously i'm a girl but we have to travel to diferent states to find another girls team......it's pretty big in canada but why not here. when i tell people i play hockey they're like "there's girls ice hockey? i had no idea!"

For those who dont get to watch my "small market" Bluejackets, Jason Chimera is probably the fastest skater in the NHL IMO. It amazes me how a guy his size can be SOOOO much faster then everyone else. Its a joy to watch him on the dump and chase....defenders MUST communicate when he's on the ice and chasing a dman with his back turned to him...cause it wont be long before he passes them

The laces that tie the pads to the skates keep fraying and ripping. I think it's from the inside of the skate blade, but I'm not sure. Anyone have experience with this?

When I was a kid, it seems like I was always chosen to serve the team penalty and I thought it wa because the coach didnt like me... or that I sucked. :)
Does anyone know why or how a (professional) coach selects this person to serve the penalty?

Seriously how good is this guy, I love him,
he is my favorite player in the league
such a hard working guy. plays PP and PK his 2 way game has improved dramatically. this guy is a leader in the dressing room and on the ice, he leads by example his hard work.
he is excellent on faceoffs I really think this guy could be oilers next captain
