Hartford would be a better place then any other American city period, they lost there team just because they didn't have the money to built an arena and ran out of time. just like the Jets and Nordiques if Bettman would of given them time they would still have NHL teams in Winnipeg, Quebec and Hartford but he runs to the money like a kid with his candy. I don't want to see a 40 year old team move anywhere but if they do they should move to Canada and probably Winnipeg they have an arena that can feel almost 16,000 to most American team that average 14,000 to 16,000 in attendance, and most American don't think an arena that is around capacity to 16,000 doesn't deserve a team cause most arena are over 19,000, but what they don't realize is that most of those arena in the U.S average only 14,000 so with Winnipeg averaging over 15,000 it won't mean ****. and with the Canadian dollar better then ever and with the new salary cap any team in Canada can survive. Gary Bettman knows this and he knows it will hurt hockey in the U.S if there's more Canadian teams and they win a Stanley cup.

No. Why would anyone want a team in a city that has proven that cannot keep a team? If the Penguins are smart, they'll either move to Canada (where the interest is high) or to a place like Seattle or Houston that has a very large population. Hartford is too close to Boston to be that successful. Kansas City probably isn't big enough.

Not sure about the "Pittspurgh" team but the Pittsburgh Penguins moving would be a shame. Then again the Nords and Jets moved so I would say given that KC or Seattle would be good choices.
Hartford--dream on. They were barely an NHL franchise. This is a team that had a parade after they beat Mtl in a game 7 early rd. one season...they hadn't won anything yet. Pathetic really.

Living in KC, I'd love to have the Penguins here, but even I'll admit that the fans in Pittsburgh deserve to have the team stay. They do a great job supporting the Pens.

Of course not. Pittsburgh needs the Penguins. I can't believe this is really happening to us!
What really gets my goat, is that we taxpayers aren't even finished paying for 3 Rivers Stadium...then they put in both PNC Park and Heinz field. C'mon...does anyone really give a damn about the Pirates? Make them move. We want the Penguins!!!

Canada. It's about time Canada gets another team. It's our game, but why do we only have 6 teams out of 30? What's wrong with Bettman? He's so biased towards Canada. He was okay with the Penguins relocating to another US city, but he wouldn't let Jim Balsille move them to Canada. What the f*uck is that? F*ucking Gary Bettman! Go back and mess with basketball. Leave our game alone!!!

I'd like them to stay in Pittsburgh, but if they had to Kansas City is closer to me than Pittsburgh, although St. Louis is half the distance that KC is.

I don't want them to go to either city. I want the Penguins to stay in Pittsburgh where they belong.
