No way to tell for sure. Statistically you've got to like Anaheim to win it all, but upsets are so common that I would not put money on it.

That said, the Sharks have a really well-balanced team. There are a lot of teams whose starting goalies wouldn't even be good enough to be in San Jose's lineup, let alone actually playing. They also have one of the most well-balanced defenses in the league, though it would be nice if one of two of them would step up and be like a Niedermayer or Pronger.

What I think the Sharks need is for Cheechoo to step and play like he did last year. They need to score more goals to keep up with the Ducks or Sabres this year. In answer to your question, though, I think the Sharks have a fair enough shot at it. We'll see who the injury bug is beating up on come Spring! That is often the key.

i'm a large Sharks fan and characteristic accompanied the gang because of the fact the early ninety's. based on this team's overall performance so a techniques, the respond on your questions isn't any. of direction, issues might desire to alter between now and for something of the season. (and that i useful desire so. bypass Sharks!!!) they are going to surely make the playoffs for useful. Their potential is protection. Their offense and skill to attain targets continually each and every interest remains a large subject. Their offensive production has been pegged to Joe Thornton. extra objective productions might want back from distinctive gamers. 38 video games into the season so a techniques, in basic terms Thornton has scored 20+ targets for the gang. Detroit has 9 in yet in any different case gamers that have scored 20+ targets, accompanied with the aid of Dallas, Anaheim and Vancouver with 4 gamers. San Jose had between the perfect potential Play interior the league. This season, it is between the worst. Jonathan Cheechoo has contributed little or no whilst in comparison with final season as nicely. although, THE expertise IS THERE. Few key gamers might desire to step up. sure, they have a shot on the Cup, the probability is slender, the Sharks will make the playoffs, something might desire to ensue interior the playoffs, and the respond on your question isn't any.

Anything could happen, But that does not look likely. The 3 I think could win are Anaheim, Atlanta, and Buffalo (and possibly the canes, but I would say that anyway...). Of course, a lot can happen before then, but I wouldn't' count on it.

They've got talent. They've got a young Joe and Jumbo Joe, Marleau, Cheecho, Mclaren and of course Toskala and Nabokov.
They'll be a handful but no. The cup is coming to Anaheim this yr.

No, but could be a pain in the playoffs. Unfortunately they are one of those (many) teams that could send the Red Wings home early...again :)
Anaheim has been smokin though...
