If a team wins the game either in regulation, overtime or a shootout they get 2 pts, If a team loses they get nothing. Why should a team get a point for losing a game?

I have 2 mint condition Steve Yzerman Cards both in plastic and a hard plastic housing. Both are Upper Deck cards. One is a card from 91-92 and the other is the Black Diamond edition from 97-98. I also have a Vladimir Konstantinov Black Diamond card in plastic as well. I know they are probably not worth alot, but if someone could tell me how much each card would possibly sell for that would be great! Thanks

or was Ovechkin just whining about nothing? I only saw a quick clip of it on the news tonight because I watched the game on MSG, but it looked to me like Ovechkin got prodded a little, took a dive, and threw a divo-sized hissy fit about it.
