Sad thing is that the Flyers have some really good young prospects... I guess its a matter of fitting in with the team. Ben Eager and Steve Downie are perfect fits for the Flyers (although the are both a bit of a "loose cannon" - more so Downie). But for some reason, guys like Carter and Richards ... I don't think fit into the mold that Bob Clarke has made. I know Clarke is pretty much gone, but the team identity is still there. They are having trouble adapting to the new rules.
They should invest in a goalie... however, Houle is a decent prospect and Philly would probably rather go for an experienced goaltender... its always been their problem come playoff time.
Philly always seems to go with the mindset of the "best guy possible", I can't imagine them being any less than 4-5th pick overall (with the draft lottery), so they'll have some great prospects to take a look at.

You will be looking at a few, Angelo Esposito from the Quebec Ramparts, also Jakub Voracek from the Halifax Mooseheads. Those 2 are projected to be the top 2 in next years entry draft.

For good genes, go with Brandon Sutter or Angelo Esposito.
