I personally like the sabresand i think they are gonna win for the eastern conference but im not sure who the best team is in the western conference!

Let's go Sabres....Let's go Sabres....bring on all the contenders and pretenders. Having only lost back to back games one all season, hard pressed to deal with the highest scoring team in the league...right now no clear cut scorer but 4 guys already closing in on 20 goals each. Not a bad thing to have 4 lines that can put the puck "Top Shelf where Mama hides the cookies"

Could be Anaheim or the Sabres for the Stanley Cup at this point in the season. With a long way to go, the injury potential great, I think another team could come from behind and take it. Atlanta, maybe. My hope is always on the Captials, but I don't want to get carried away here!

Ok. Now that my personal fantasy is over, I am going to have to go with Anaheim for my real guess. They have solid goaltending. They have talented youth. They have experienced veterans. And they have two of the three best defensemen in the league. No one is better than they are right now.
That said, it is a long time before spring, and this is a league well-known for its upsets! So I am not putting any money down on this anytime soon!

the Habs are right behind the Sabres and they have there number, the Sabres won two games in shootout against the Habs and still the season is young and allot can happen between now and the playoffs and remember the Habs have the better goalie. just remember the playoffs is a different story it doesn't matter if you finish first or 8th its the NHL playoffs the hardest championship to win, look at the Oilers last year.

i think the sabers r good but i think for the west the wild will win and they beat sabers in a seven game series 3-2 is game sevens score
