This whole Rory Fitzcraptrick thing is a complete joke! The All-Star games sole purpose is to showcase the most talented players in the league. Now all because of the doofus who started this nonsense, a good offensive defensman is going to have to sit home while Rory "no points in my career" Fitzpatrick gets to go! If I were paying for a seat to see the game and I had to see this guy I would be pissed, but maybe thats just me...

To answer your question: No I didn't vote for Rory, I voted for the guys that deserve to be there.

Even if he does make up the votes that he's behind, I doubt he'll go. My bet is he'll decline. I agree it's a Joke, but it's not the Fitzpatrick Campaign that's a joke, it's the fact that any idiot can vote! And vote a million times that's what makes the whole thing a Joke!

If they want to have a voting system it should be players in the east vote for players in the east and west votes for west. Then we'd see an all start team!

And NO I didn't vote for him.

After Gretzky spoke out publicly antagonistic to the assumption of Fitzpatrick making it to the all-time-honored individual interest, many followers have been given off the Rory bandwagon. very final I heard is he has fallen nicely off contained interior the polls and ought to no longer have adequate vote to win a area of interest.

He had goals in Buffalo, he just doesn't have any this year.

To vote for someone because they have no numbers is insane.

A real hockey fan would never do that, that's just making a joke out of the All Star game--which we haven't had in 2 years.

How dumb!

Vote for players who deserve it and only vote if you've actually watched a game. Good God.

Only those fools that started the write in vote for him. Why would anyone vote for a basic journeyman defenseman with no all star stats in his entire nhl career, including this year, is beyond me. What a JOKE. This just goes to show you that fan based voting for all star games is ridiculous. It's all based on fan favorites instead of the type of year that player is having.

umm noooooo. This whole thing is a complete joke, ask anyone to see if he actually belongs on the all star team, and I guarantee you that everyone will say NO. The all star team should have players that work hard and put up the numbers to prove it, they also have to be somewhat TALENTED too.

I didn't vote for him, he doesn't deserve it in my opinion. I want guys that can play at the highest level.

Yeah I voted for him, and so should you, it's not who's best it's who gets the most votes, it's for the fans, and if the fans want Rory, then Rory should goto Dallas.
