He just lets his saves do most of the talking. Quiet goalie who gets the job done. His stats says it all.

value merits the shot. he's a youthful goalie and performed his at the back of off. performed alright at that. As for the goalie having to be a French speaker. : You all ask your self why human beings have a situation with French Canadians? French is a huge language, yet would desire to in no way be required to usual or something like that. Take a goalie with the aid of fact he's a sturdy goalie no longer what he speaks.

Why not? He's been pretty durable so far.

What impresses me about the Canadiens isn't so much their goaltending. Their forwards can really handle the puck and match that with speed. It's makes Huet's job fairly easy back there.

A treat? To watch? Yeah, Huet is good. I wouldn't consider him as exciting to watch as Hasek in his prime. The Habs are a bunch of smurfs who seem far far removed from the Cup champions of even '93. The drought to my mind will continue until they get a more balanced squad upfront esp. on the forward lines. They need Shanahan types not more Koivu smurfs.

Don't get me wrong. I enjoy watching them play but Cups are what the Habs should be about.

If he continues to play the way he has, the Canadiens are a very good team. If he gets hurt, look out (see: Ottawa 2005-6).

Listen, in this new NHL almost every team is a threat. But trust me on this and I hate to say this, but another crappy southern US team will win the Cup this year so Bettman can promote his watered down sport in the Southern US. Look for Nashville or Atlanta to do it. It's the way of the new NHL. Gotta market the product I guess.

Yes, right now he seems to be the number one goalie for the Habs. But as someone else said, if he gets injuired the team will go under.

yes, he is much bettter than Jose Theodore who is now the back-up in Colorado, and give th fact that with the exception of Buffalo Montreal plays in a division that is pretty weak offensively, (Boston, Toronto, Ottawa)

Of course. His stats tell it all. He has plenty of potential and has definitely shown that he play good against any team.
