Not too shabby considering he's one of the best pure goal-scorers in the league. He could use a little more discipline, though, especially away from the puck. Regardless, he's one of the NHL's shining stars.

He's good, He is one of the best pure goal scoreres in the NHL, but he is not too good defensively, pretty much a one dimensional player. I was watching Off the Record on TSN and they were asking the Atlanta play-by-play guy who he would rather have, Ovechkin, Crosby, or Kovalchuk and he said Kovalchuk, HA HA what a stupid guy.

23 years old kit from Russia is not even at is top 42 points in 39 games so far this season and already 20 goals Just want to see him when he will be 26 - 27 years old he will be the star of NHL with Crosby

He is pretty good at looking good!! But Rick Nash is sexier.
