sounds like you need to rest a bit more, high quality rest. talk to the trainer about your diet, increase your quality calories (the idiot who said to stay away from protein doesn't know what theyre talking about) just don't overdo it real close to a game. try some supplements whey or soy protien to bulk up in conjuction with weight training. if youre 21 and not a serious prospect stay away from the roids they'll hurt you in the end and really its not worth it unless its gonna get you a job making millions and you would know by now if you were. last try mental training (picturing yourself with energy playing well) good luck.

a couple hours b4 a game eat lots of pasta, it gives you energy. drink gatorade during the game or an energy drink. most importantly dont drink or smoke and go for runs to build endurance. if you work out you might get heavier from more muscle so make sure to work out your legs to support the extra wieght. get plently of sleep thats the main thing and have carbs b4 the game for energy.

Cut sugar out of your diet. Eat whole grain carbs a couple of hours before you skate. Don't eat protein like a big steak before skating.

Sleep more.
If you sleep more, you'll have more energy and you'll get bigger from lack of exercise if you keep your current eating patterns.
