When I played as a youth, we had to wear a full-cage until the age of 18.. when we became adults and the liability was off the league. Once we hit 18, our only requirement was certain pads and a helmet. (and skates..haha)

I am 99% sure that the age is 18 years old, cause I play Junior A, and as soon as i was 18 i got a visor.

Chicago Wolves of the AHL. Very entertaining hockey, and with all the close teams, rivalries are a plenty. Had both benches arguing last game against the Rockford Ice Hogs (45 minutes away), they had to let the time run out without even having a face off as the refs were sure there'd be a fight.
