Just thinking about the poor Dolphins. I actually think there the Dolphins will get at least one win as an early Christmas present against the Pats. I know it sounds crazy but just look back 2 years ago!

Anyways, has a team in NFL history ever gone without a win in a single season?

I'm sure Ohio St. will beat Wisconsin this week. I think Illinois will be a little tougher but they should win. As for Michigan, that
could be a toss up. I think Michigan will have their hands full
with Ohio St. Defense.

My neighbor thinks Pittsburgh is the best thing since sliced bread. Anyway's he wants to bet me that Pittsburgh wins this one by 10. I dont think they will but I dont know if I can trust the Ravens to win the game or hold the Steelers lead to under 10. Should I take it?

ok.. I've been hearing this, that and the other thing, about "bandwagon" fans forever.... I want your opions on how long someone has to be a fan of a team, before they are no longer considered bandwagoners.....

I've been a fan of the NE Patriots since 1972, when I went to my first game, with a bf. I've followed them steadily since, even during the bad years.

I've also been a fan of the Boston Red Sox since my grandfather, took me to my first game at Fenway Park, when I was 5 years old...

but, what I want to know is, if I like a new team, for my own reasons, am I a bandwagoner ? when I lived in Texas a few years back I enjoyed the Longhorns... and cheered for them... does that make me a bandwagoner ?

Who would win this matchup and why? I think the 1994 niners probably 31-21, would be a pretty cool game to watch.

Look, i'm sorry for having another question about the pats... not a fan, and actually kinda sick of all the hype, and talk surrounding them. But reguardless, this is a serious question. The way they've been playing, going for it no holds bar whether their up or not, scoring like crazy every chance they get... will it change the way teams play? Do you think running in the second half will be a thing of the past? Will teams be less reluctant from now on? Or will they adbide to the ethics of old? Ok... ok... i know most of you will say: The pats are the best and their doing what no team has ever been able to do... blah, blah, blah. But the truth is that every team in the history of football when up (esp by 42) will slow down by running or putting in their second string.

ok i don't know much about football. I watch it once in a blue moon. So i watched the video on trinity lateral(ing) the ball 15 times as yahoo states. So what is a lateral? I thought you can't pass the ball once you pass the line of scrimage.

Until this year the pats were a team people were indifferent about you could sort of like them. kind of like the san antonio Spurs in the NBA you didnt feel passionate either way.

the great sports dynasties of the past 90's Cowboys, 70's raiders and steelers., 80's 49'ers, 80's lakers celtics, jordan's bulls, the yankees you either loved the team or you despised them, usually the latter if you were not a fan of theirs. the patriots until this year were not dominant or hated. this year they are does this finally make their claim of dynasty legit??

I watched a clip on YouTube the other day of Troy Polamalu getting grabbed by his dreads, and being taken down to the ground. With a lot of players donning longer hair (Polamalu, Al Harris, Kevin Greene, AJ Hawk), should there be rules put in place against hair tackles?

I just read an article that asked that question, and was suprised at the people who ridiculed it.
This has been the talk of the NFL for 8 solid weeks, so anyone who doesn't know about it needs to find another forum to comment on.
The Pats are several million dollars over the cap. That's right...I said over the cap.
Anyone who follows football knows that this has been talked about all season.
The problem is that while the NFL has these rules, when a team violates them, the only thing they can do is warn them or fine them. They cannot do anything else, and the Pats knew this. So they have taken advantage of this.
I really find it amazing that all of you so-called football fans, who want to spout off at the mouth, had no idea that this has been going on all year long.

Do you all realize that yet? Tom Brady will pick them apart. I suspect a rout like the Pats have done to everyone so far. I know the Colts are better than the dolphins and the redskins, but guess what? The Pats know that too. The Pats are bringing their A game, and the one good thing I can say for the colts is, you'll have an easy time gettiing out of traffic on the way home. The game will be over at half time, the Pats will win by 20 or 30 points. At least. How can you deny it?

My thought is that no matter what, Indy will probably put up numbers against anyone. But I have a hard time benching the best defense in the league. Also: the Redskins play the Jets.
