The Commish got his account suspended! Now if they will just get his ugly mug off the leader board. Sorry USC, you are not invited unless you buy me a house.

The quotes from around the NFL:

They probably only have four or five plays they run most of the time," Baltimore Ravens linebacker Bart Scott said. "It's just that Peyton is so good at knowing how you're going to defend them each time that he knows where to go depending on the defense."

Or as Dallas owner Jerry Jones put it: "Not to take anything away from Tom Brady, but I believe that you could put a player in (for Brady) and do what they do at New England and win some games better than you can plug another quarterback in what they do at Indianapolis."

"I personally believe I could make it for a game or two without Brady. But I think it would be a dramatic difference, a drop off, without Peyton Manning out there. It's how he gets out there and runs the checks and everything, gets them in the right plays."

Im looking for XL youth sizes for NFL teams; packers, bears & giants, but cant find many good sites other than the NFL.com shop, which has very little size options, particularly in youth XL.

can you recommend somewhere?

Expect the Cowboys

2007-10-31 08:38:07 · 34 answers · asked by macman0820 2

Example:

Patriots fan - "We will trounce the Redskins this weekend".

Redskins fan - "We will play hard and maybe eke out a win"

Clearly, the less true of the comments would be considered "trash", since it is untrue, worthless. The true comment ,while abrasive, is true and has face value.

So, we could say that Colts fans claiming "We might win" would be trash talk while Pats fans accurately predicting "The Colts will be absolutely humiliated on Sunday by the Patriots running up the score and finishing them off by halftime" would not be.

In baseball you had the yankees because of their success and getting superstars.

So how about the Pats? Everyone seems to hate them now. I see the pats still being dominant for the next 4-5 yrs if they still have Belichick and Brady.

So are they the evil empire of the NFL?

Why should he take his starters out of the game just because they are winning in a blowout? The only argument... ONLY ARGUMENT... I have read is that it risks hurting your starters and that Belichick doesn't care about his players. Welp... that doesn't make much sense to me. How is he risking hurting his players, namely Tom Brady, when they haven't been able to defend them all game? Brady comes out without a trickle of sweat on him and his jersey still clean... how is he gonna get hurt? Your risking hurting your players more when you are playing a close hard fought game... where the QB has been sacked like 8 times. You don't take them out until the game is through because your starters give you the best chance to win. Are you saying you should pull your starters then to prevent them from getting hurt... if you say yes then you have no IDEA what's going on. All the Patriots can do is get as much practice in for when they have close game... which will probably be against Indy this week.

Although I am a huge Drew Brees fan (both the Chargers and Saints are my teams), I would still like to see Tom Brady get payback for all the humiliation he suffered after the 2007 AFC Championship game.

Now that they have been caught by the NCAA, is seems likely that the USC football program will be given the Death Penalty for due to the huge amounts of money involved, the ongoing nature of the Violations, and the fact that USC did everything possible to hinder the investigation. And yet when I mention this in an answer about USC's future coaching plans, the person who asked the question blocked me. Are USC fans in denial, or do they think USC boosters can pay the NCAA enough to avoid being justly punished for their actions?

If you're up 38points and you have 7points remaining then your opponent can comeback. Who does not remember the Colts and Bucs on Monday Night Football? No team can overcome 21points with 3minutes remaining, right? Wrong. I do not think any NFL team will ever comeback from being down 45points with 5minutes remaining.

I'm sure I will get bias answers from all the Emmitt Smith fans but before you voice your opinions here are some reasons why he should be fired:

1. analysis are confusing
2. another Michael Irvin type
3. should be dancing with the stars
4. tries to be funny but steve young and others aren't laughing

I guess since they hired and let go of Irvin, they will do the same to Emmitt Smith, then ESPN will look upon another former Cowboys to help them on Countdown
