saying they have played a week schedule ,but what i don't hear are people questioning the Cowboys legitimacy as a 6-1 team when their schedule has been equal if not weaker then that of the Patriots .....tell me what you think ?

First of all I'm going to start this off by saying I'm a Colts fan and I do hate the Patriots, sorry, but I do. (But don't confuse that with not respecting what the Pats are capable of, because I do.) I'm sure lots of Pats fans hate the Colts and that's okay with me, as long as they can be respectful.
BUT: Anyone who is actually questioning the legitimacy of those wins is a moron. The Pats obviously won, and they are a hell of a team. I think the difference is no one (other than over the top Cowboy fans) are acting as if the Cowboys already have the Super Bowl locked up. That's why people are talking about a weak schedule. The Pats are a tough team and they have the 8-0 record for a reason. But they are in a fairly weak division. That doesn't mean they haven't earned those wins or that they aren't a good team. As you point out, the "weak schedule" argument could be made about a lot of teams and they can't help the division they are in.
And I also think you have to factor in just how bad the Dolphins have looked this season when thinking the Pats have played a weak schedule. Pull out the Dolphins and they've played teams with a combined 24-26.

I think the Patriots answered that question when they beat the Cowboys.
Personally I think it is just real popular to hate the Patriots right now.
Remember 20 years ago (some of you anyway) when everybody "hated" the Cowboys. That may be where the saying came from: My two favorite teams are the 49ers and whoever is playing against Dallas.

if the pats had the same talent they had last year they would be winning by 7 points instead of 21. Patriot haters have no ammunition except for the schedule which is the one thing the pats have no control over

I hate the Patriots because I like the Steelers , but the Pats are still the best damn team Ive ever seen in my lifetime.

I think the point is really, there just isn't any comparision to the class of the Colts and the class of the Patriots or any other team. Colts don't get arrested. They don't cheat. They don't act like idiots. They don't smart off to the press. They can put a grammitcally correct sentence together. Tony Dungy has impecable manners and taste and Peyton has a children's Hospital named after him. And they are the best team in the NFL until someone beats them, by virtue of being the Super bowl Champs.

When your team is undefeated, regardless of who they are, people are going to look for excuses for it. The cheated, have a weak schedule, etc. etc. That's just sports. I wouldn't worry about it. Someday your team will be 5-5 and you'll be saying that about someone else.

the pats(my team live in MA so im a homer) almost beat u with the sisters of the poor at receivers..... now we have stallworth,welker,moss.
o ya colts fans our schedules are the same almost better.

1.@ jets
2. Chargers(there top 10 team)
3. bills ( sucky)
4.@ bengals( pretty sucky same)
5.Browns(proving to be decent)
6. @ dallas ( hard going @ dallas and winning by 21 points over a top 5 team?)
7.@ miami(lol i know joke)
8. redskins( pretty decent till they played us.
Colts schedule
1. Saints ( you played them during there 0-4 so i say same as @ jets)
2.@ titans ( same as chargers and u guys BARELY survived)
3.@ houston( better than bills)
4.broncos( id say the same as @ bengals)
5. tampa bay( same as browns maybe tampa lil better)
6. BYE( while we played @ dallas lol)
7.@ JAGS (better than @ mia but remember second string qb for jags)
8. @ carolina( a lil better than skins)
So overall the schedules are the SAME! i dont see how people think the colts is way better. You could say the pats is stronger....
