The 'Boys were/are/will always be America's Team. The Pats tried hijacking the name earlier this year, but lost steam on it 'cuz of spy gate
Colts 38 Pats 24
to chris C - 3 TD's and 3 Vinateri boots and 1 safety would be 32 , numerous ways to get it actually

Tell me how you got Colts 32? 4 td's and two safety's? ... what a weird score you predicted...
Anyways Take the Patriots to win 45-28... Dont take the Colts that's for sure...
America's team... There not really America's team... but they are the Patriots and after 9/11 they won the superbowl that year and became America's team... but your right the Cowgirls were always known as America's team....

The only one who sees the patriots as americas team is the patriotic George Bush. You are correct. The girls are "America's Team." For now If I were to say there were any team America roots for, it's the steelers or the colts. But never the pats. I mean who doesn't like to see anyone but the patriots win,

I believe the Pats became "America's Team" when they won the Superbowl after 9/11. LoL....I actually found a conspiracy theory on this.
I guess it seemed fitting for many people because patriotism was running high and who better to support than the Patriots!
GO CHARGERS!!!

Pats - 45, Colts - 21

I think that calling any professional sports team "America's Team" is a lie. The whole idea of our national sports leauges is that there are lots of teams and people choose who they root for.
the only pro sports team qualified to be called "America's team" in my opinion is our nations World Cup Soccer team. They really are a team that represents the country as a whole.

The pats became America's team when their clutch playoff performances mesmerized not only pats fans, but America as a whole. America doesn't embrace a team until their dominance is dispayed for many years, and the pats have definately shown their dominance for most of the last decade. The name "PATRIOTS" doesn't hurt either!

each team is biased like that.
cowboy fans think they are america's team because of all the merchandise they sell, but texas is also one of the most populated states in the nation, with only 1 other nfl team.
patriots think they are america's team because of their recent success and domination which has strired interest around the country.
packers think they are america's team because they have the most sports bars and largest fan base around the country.
the truth is, there is no America's Team. every team rises and falls. bandwaggoners jump from one team to the next.

I have yet to hear anyone refer to the Patriots as 'America's Team' by anyone. It would be rather appropriate considering their colors but with the recent antics by their organization, I don't think America wants them as their team.
