I am going to the Northwestern vs. Iowa game on saturday and the Game starts at 11am. What time should I get to the parking lot to ensure parking for tailgating. I guess there is only one lot that tailgating goes on at. Please help.

northwestern v. iowa? 11 am?

up close parking should be available until 11:30. then you'll have to wait until 11:45 - when folks start leaving.

Depends on how big the game is honestly. I've noticed a lot of schools are now putting restrictions on how early people can start tailgaiting around campus parking lots. For Northwestern vs. Iowa a couple hours (2-3) before the game should be enough though.

Have fun!!

At LSU, for a Saturday night game, campus police start towing cars out of student parking lots on Friday afternoons, when the RVs start showing up!

Tigers know how to party!

Now in Iowa/ NW, a couple hours before should be ok.

Tailgating for an Iowa NW game? That sounds riveting! I forsee budweiser and some by-product of corn in your future. That is not tailgating to an LSU fan. We call that parking.

If you go to a football game in the north, arrive 2 hours before kickoff. If you live in the south, get there on Thursday.
