I do. I understand that they are trying to expand their market but i just dont agree with playing a regular season game in another country. The NFL is an American league and should be played in America. There are already european leagues. All the fans in other countries are more than welcome to come here to watch if they want.
This is how it starts. The next thing you know we will be watching a superbowl being played Japan.
If I was a season ticket holder for the Giants or miami I would be pissed.

..likely the Pats wont score over 10 in their loss to the Colts. All their wins were against very weak teams where as the Colts seem to dominate good teams even on the road. Brady will experiance real pressure for the first time when Freeny is crashing down on him.

The first time in history that two teams have played that were both at least 7-0? Excellent!

Add any comment as you like!

Thanks (and if you have an extra ticket, don't forget your ol' pal Abby! I just live 30 minutes from the RCA Dome. :-D )

And if it turns on the divisional record, what if the divisional record is also identical? Then what does it turn on?

The last 3 weeks the Chargers have been every bit as dominant as the colts and patriots, now they have Chris Chambers and they really seem to be in their groove like they were last year, is it safe to say that they are back?

The Patriots have been criticized for continuing to pile on the points after they've already blown a team out. They did it again this week, with Brady throwing his 3rd TD pass when they were already up 38-0 on the Redskins.

In comparison, the Chargers led the Texans 35-3 at halftime. In the second half they threw a total of 3 passes and didn't score again.

Rivers threw 11 passes. Brady threw 38.

So what do you think is the appropriate way to play when an opponent is being blown out? Should a team continue to pile on points, as this is a professional league? Or should they go easy, knowing the game is in hand?

Okay, I think everyone who isn't an OSU fan or the Big Ten commissioner will agree that the BCS system blows chunks and must be replaced. My question is, with what? If it gets replaced, it would obviously need to be replaced with a playoff system, but what kind? 8 teams? 16? And how would teams be ranked to be entered into playoff eligibility?

Is it karma that the curse of the undefeated 1972 Miami Dolphins that has kept other teams from going undefeated may come back to bite the 2007 Miami Dolphins who are on pace to be defeated in all of their games?

This is the NFL, not high school. If you don't want to lose by so much PLAY BETTER. Sorry but I don't think there is any reason to ever NOT play your best. Yes the game was over but I think it would have been disrespectful stop trying or let the redskins catch up a little. The fact that people are complaining that the Patriots shouldn't score so much is ridiculous. If you ask me, it looked like the redskins gave up at half time. They should be embarrassed.

I'm just wondering if that is why everyone is so against them. If this cheating thing never occured would people just be like "wow they are a really great team" or would they still be trashing them and talking about how they run up the score?

Just a side note: noone said anything when San Diego Scored 41 - 3 over Denver, i think it was week 5, wouldn't that be "running up the score"?

I have a question with terminology relating to sports predictions. Let's say the Miami Dolphins are playing at the Houston Texans and experts pick "Houston minus the 7." Does this mean that the line was for Houston to win by 7? Does this indicate that the experts predict Houston to win, but not by 7? What if Houston was picked to win "plus the 7?" Who decides what "the line" should be? Vegas? Thanks for the help!

If you've been paying attention to football the last few years (starting with Indy's comeback against Tampa Bay) you should know that almost no lead is safe. Just this season a few teams have scored a ton of points in the fourth quarter, either winning or getting oh-so-close. If a team can't stop you or your second string what are you supposed to do? Kneel for every play after you're a certain margin of points ahead of the opposing team?
Just like in the NHL and MLB, teams aren't going to stop because the other team can't stop them, they just keep playing. Insurance goals and runs, no one says anything about those.
