Steelers fan here. #3 in the AFC...well, I'm not so sure about that. San Diego looks really good, Jacksonville is a threat...maybe even a couple other teams are in the mix. So the 3rd best team in the AFC is...who knows.
We have a talented team that many don't give a great deal of credit to. Okay, that's fine. I agree to a certain point that we haven't beaten a high caliber team yet, but the last time I checked..we don't make the schedule. Denver and AZ were tough losses..yep..we should've beaten both teams. Also consider that we lost both by a combined total of 10 points, and both were on the road.

We have a great defense, a very capable offense, and the depth to roll off a dozen wins this year. If people want to deny that, it's your right and prerogative. Sensible fans won't deny that the Steelers are a good team though, and capable of a great year (and run in the playoffs). This would be echoed by every team in the league as well.

The Steelers do not belong in the same sentence with the colts or pats. They only beat terrible teams and they lose to subpar teams, Arizona and Denver, give me a break. The Steelers are average just like the rest of the NFL. With that said the next best team in the AFC can be any team except the Bengals, Jets, and Dolphins.

When the Jags are healthy their better than the steelers. The steelers have struggled all season to win on the road, losing to teams like Arizona and Denver. Beating teams like buffalo and cincy, two very poor teams.

Why do you include the Steelers in the same category with the Patriots and the Colts ? I don't understand.

colts and pats are tier 1. steelers are tier 2, with jacksonville, tennessee, and dare i say kc and sd. of the tier 2 teams, the steelers are the best, but not even close to the colts/pats level.

How did you sneak the Steelers into that question? It's like saying other than Howard Hughes, Bill Gates and the guy with the big pool on my block, who are the richest people in history?

Remove the Steelers from the list and you have you answer, though the main thing the Patriots are good at are CHEATING, SALARY CAP VIOLATIONS, and RUNNING UP THE SCORE against subpar opponents.

ha ha Steelers, you mean the team they may have 1 or 2 more losses, when they lose to the cheaters, and maybe one of the other games.
