The Patriots are too busy thinking their S%*^ don't stink to worry about a thing like class.

The coach is a tactless piece of s%$#

I used to like the Patriots..back in the day when they SUCKED and were always losing...now they are acting like the Dallas Cowgirls!!

No they are not. The Raiders will hold that title until Al Davis dies.
The Patriots have been the elite team in the NFL since Belicheck took over and I think he is easily the best coach in the league. The spygate thing was blown out of proportion. Lets face it all professional sports teams cheat in some form. Since the NFL actually put out a memo before the season against taping and Belicheck did it anyway, they got punished. I think they should have had to forfeit the game as well but that didn't happen.
There is one thing from the Patriots I have seen this year that comes off as classless. Why the hell are they passing and going for it on 4th down when they are up by 35 to 45 points in the fourth quarter? It seems pretty chicken s*%@. If Belicheck is doing it just to prove to the league that he doesnt need to tape other teams signs to blow away the competition, I think they already proved that weeks ago.

BTW I am not a Patriots fan, am not fond of pompous NE sports fans in general.

There is no shame in running up the score in the NFL. If it were college or high school where the playing field isn't level in terms of recruiting and school size then it would be wrong. As far as the video taping goes, well that to me is wrong, but stealing signs or play calls from other teams has always been a part of sports. The thing that makes the Pats stand out is that they did it at a high tech level. The NFL has cleaned up things now, but the number of cheap shot that teams would take on the other teams best players use to be uncountable. It was considered part of the game, and teams just had to find a way to protect against it. In the case of video taping the other teams coaches...NFL teams have just used an inactive player to stand in front of the coach with a towel to block the other teams view of him. So to answer your question no, there is nothing classless about the Patriots.

I don't remember any such team. But don't forget about how they constantly insult other teams in the newspapers. I can't wait until Adalius Thomas (the system LB who left the Ravens in the offseason and had the audacity to attack Ray Lewis, Brian Billick, and the rest of his former teammates in the press) and the Patriots come into Baltimore in a few weeks. I hope they come in undefeated because the Ravens will shut down Brady and Moss (the pass rush will get to Brady and Chris McAllister will keep up with Moss) and then beat those Patriots all over the field on their way to a big win.

Then the Patriots can drag themselves back to New England and hopefully get run over by Pittsburgh in a snowstorm. Then, when the AFC North is done with them, maybe they will learn some class.

Crying about running up the score is a joke. This is the NFL, not little league. If you don't like the score, do something to stop them. And I am a Skins fan!
If I am on a team that is getting killed, the most embarrassing thing you can do to me is stop playing hard because you know you've got me beat. Your pity is way more embarrassing than a sound defeat.
And cheating? Please. Every team in the league pushes the limits of the rules to gain an advantage and the Pats got caught in a little insignificant move because cry baby Mangini knew exactly how to catch them, since he was part of the organization in recent past. The Patriots are proving to the world right now that they don't need any extra help to completely destroy every team in the league.
I am a Skins fan and my team took their whoopin with class. The Patriots, like it or not, are likley the best team in history!Period!

It is so funny hearing all you people complain about the Patriots running up the score. Do you want them to take a knee every time they have a lead? This isn't pee wee Football. This is the Fcukin NFL. You want the Patriots to stop scoring...STOP THEM THEN! The point of the game is to score more points than the other team. And the Pats are doing that in record fashion. The fact that players are crying that the Pats are running up the score is funny. Do something about it than. Your professional athletes for poop sake.

Haha People like you make me laugh. They're not classless at all. Know who's classless..LT. the Patriots don't run up the score, they make sure they win. It's not their fault nobody can stop them. This is proffesional football, it's the offenses job to score, and the other teams defenses job to stop them. If the other team isn't doing their job...who's to blame?

I think people are just mad at them for being awesome. We may be witnessing one of the best teams ever in the history of the NFL. They would have left Brady in the whole game if they were trying to run up the score. If you listned to any of the interviews after the game, they were very complimentary to the Washington defense.

By the way, I am not even a Patriots fan. I just think it is amazing what they are doing this year. I'm sure they would have beat the Jets whether they were cheating or not. Do you think they are still cheating? I don't think so and they beat down Washington, who is a far superior team to the Jets.

All fans get annoying if their teams string a few decent years or even a few decent games together. Running up the score is BS, at the pro level no team should be giving up 50+ points! Brady and Moss are both gunning for single season TD records, they are pros and their job is to get people to pay attention to Patriots football, by winning Super Bowls and breaking records, and they're doing it.

Ok keep calling them cheaters, they're 7-1 then in your mind with 7 blowout wins, that should still be decent.

No. The running up the score point is crap. Just look at last weekend's Titans game. If you want classless, look at Oakland, moving from Oakland to L.A. and then back to Oakland. Look at the Colts, packing up in the middle of the night and moving to Indy. Look at the Bengals and their band of criminials.

Cheating ??? Dude...Give it a rest.

The Patriots violated an NFL Side Line Procedure Rule that governs the manner that teams can video tape opponents. A rules violation isn't cheating.

When the late Bill Walsh coached the 49'rs in their dynasty years, they exceded the NFL salary cap rules several times. It allowed them to carry players that they couldn't really afford... Are you willing to call them cheaters and would you kick Bill Walsh out of the Hall of Fame ??? I think not ..

Running Up The Score ???

The Pats were up by nearly 40 points in the 3rd Quarter. They were playing in front of their home fans who paid HUGE bucks for tickets. The fans didn't pay to watch their team "take the knee" for the entire 4th quarter just to soothe the bruised ego's of their millionaire athlete opponents.

Maybe you forgot about the AFC playoff game between the Bills and Houston Oilers ( now the Titans) The Bills were down by about 35 points and them came storming back in the 2nd half to win it and go to the Superbowl.

Maybe you forgot how the Pats were up 21-3 at the half vs the Colts in the AFC Championship game last year.

Maybe you forgot Superbowl XX in in 1986. Pats fans didn't whine when Bears Coach Mike Ditka ran a play and had Def. Lineman "Refrigerator" Perry run in a meaningless 4th Qtr TD that made the score 46-3.

The Pats didn't complain about Ditka running up the score. We are getting our payback now by being excellent and by winning big.

Deal with it.
