Yes, they run up the score and probably gloat about it off camera.
They didn't need 52 points to beat the skins yesterday, yet they ran up the score.
Why kick a man when he is down? They were up by 30-something at the half and 400-something thereafter.
So? The Pats are just an arrogant bunch right now even though they are playhing great football.
Great football/ Well, who knows, there's the little business of video and the opposing sides defensive stuff. Afterall, the communications stuff of the skin'd offensive people failed to work during the first half of y/day's game.

No. After all, Offensive players play to score points. People bring up what if Tom gets hurt .....a bunch of what if's.....that's how it is in life.....life is unpredictable. Too many people bring up scenarios that might not even happen. I just see a lot of Patriots bashing. A lot of holier than thou people pointing the finger at the team. A lot of teams have blown out people and weren't given crap about it like the Colts. This is NFL...this isn't pop warner. If they don't want the Patriots to score, then the defense should play better. Having starters in there is not necessarily bad...especially if they want to stay sharp. Also.....there is such thing as comebacks. Anything could happen in the NFL. Nobody expected a 6th round draft pick to replace Drew Bledsoe and lead the Patriots to win 3 Super Bowls.

This is what I call extreme B.S. People are so freaking dumb. There is the new Evil vs. Good thing that has come up. The Colts represent dignity, and charity...The Pats represent arrogance and unsportsmanlike conduct. Whatever...I want people to find one flaw in the pats. There are idiots that say, well they don't run very well. Are you crazy? Has that affected their game in any way. 8 weeks without the "need" to run. They're winning, why? THey don't have flaws.
So, people go into the moral issues. Belichick is heartless, and is very snarly when it comes to media. They are proving a point to the NFL and are getting angry when they were caught cheating...yea yea yea...SHUT UP.
When it comes to a point where the team is so good, that you talk about things like that, its shameful. This is the NFL. If you can't stop them, whine about it. Don't talk about morals.

I have always supported teams scoring as much as they can, as such...running up the score doesn't matter to me.
That being said...I find myself hating the Patriots more than I hate the Eagles this year...and that is a major accomplishment.
With the obvious cheating they have done and virtually no punishment...the NFL is become a cheap league...perhaps even turning into the WWF or NBA which are the one in the same.
At this point, I hope the Patriots go Unbeaten and LOSE the SuperBowl...that would make them look like the cheap sorry bastards that they are!!!

They run the score up, but they don't try to. The Redskins let Matt Cassel run in for the last touchdown, they weren't trying. So who's fault is it when the Pats run the score up? The Pats would send in the practice team if it wasn't against the rules. You'd think the Redskins would have enough pride to try to stop the Pats from scoring 52 points, but they didn't, so the Pats back-ups handed it to them.

There scores are very high indeed, they have a very powerful offense. However, there is no rules against total domination in the NFL. Pop Warner is a different story. Are they the best? That remains to be seen. Personally, I can't stand them, but you have to acknowledge that something is working for them.
