Look, I'm not going to say that they are the best program in history, hard to say that. But if you had to list the top football program ever, THEEE Ohio State would definitely be in the discussion. If you compare All-Americans, Heisman winners, 1st round draft picks, National Titles, NFL Hall of Famers, then YES, the Buckeyes are up there with Notre Dame, USC, Alabama, and Michigan.

Top 10 maybe but certainly not the best ever. I agree that they are deserving of the rank they have. Arizona State has not been tested (Cal fans might disagree) and BC pulled a game out by the skin of their teeth winning a game they should have lost. USC and LSU have lost, so Ohio State, especially after beating Penn State on the road, deserves to be #1 right now.

Even SEC and Michigan fans deep down have a place in their hearts for the Buckeyes. They all want to have a Buckeye on their helmet.

Well as a Buckeyes Fan, I think they are the greatest, but many other teams deserve ample credit..

Ohio State can beat any Big 10 team. When they play a tougher conference like the SEC, they get killed.

Its on the best in college soccer. As an OSU fan I quite have appreciate for Michigan besides, i do in contrast to them, yet appreciate them and have self assurance in some years wealthy R could have them decrease back close to the best

No way, even Michigan has a better history than Ohio state. They're the worst #1 team ever and your posting shows they aren't give on education there either.

I'm not a Buckeye fan, but I'm happy to see them number one because it means there will be lots of SEC fans on here whining about it.

If they win the BCS Championship this year, they will go down as one of the best college teams of this decades.
IF they dont make it , they will be considered the Atlanta Braves of college football (All those trips to the playoffs and the series, and only one title to show for it )
