Don't get me wrong, the guy is a top 5 QB of all-time, but this ESPN lovefest and prior Madden lovefests, focusing on how hard his personal life has been, is getting a bit out of hand.
Most of the world will have a dead parent in their life and will lose a spouse at some point. His wife is a survivor, thank God, so why must Boo-ya network and Madden continue to celebrate what Brett Favre 'has overcome'?
