Until this year the pats were a team people were indifferent about you could sort of like them. kind of like the san antonio Spurs in the NBA you didnt feel passionate either way.

the great sports dynasties of the past 90's Cowboys, 70's raiders and steelers., 80's 49'ers, 80's lakers celtics, jordan's bulls, the yankees you either loved the team or you despised them, usually the latter if you were not a fan of theirs. the patriots until this year were not dominant or hated. this year they are does this finally make their claim of dynasty legit??

I thought the pats were a borderline dynasty before this year. 3 superbowls in 5 years but they missed the playoff totally in the 2nd season. Dallas won 3 in 4 years but they also made it to the nfc champ game the year they didnt win it. not winning in dominant fashion also made me view the pats as a lesser dynasty at best.

being a fan of a team going through a dynasty run the fans get to enjoy all the hate and jealousy from other teams!

i am just saying hatred and jealousy from other fans are common traits of the old dynasties and the pats are starting to receive it.

Terry C.... if we are calling this team a continuation of the 2005 team then technically it is 3 SBs in 6 years not 3 in 4 years

People hate the Cowboys today. Does that make them a dynasty?

No.

Fans hate what they wanna hate. The Patriots are just good targets because the media is raving about them. That's a clue to when your team will be hated.

I don't hate the Patriots, and I think they are a great team. But hating them doesn't make them a dynasty. 3 Super Bowl in 5 years does.

varied it truly is self inflicted. No..i do no longer purchase into the whole fanbase being rednecks...... yet even in those years from ninety 5 til Romo...all you heard from Dallas followers is how they are the best...even whilst the checklist shows they weren't, and actually, nevertheless are not. have been given no situation with human beings helping their group, or being proud even whilst they are down..... I hate fan conceitedness. Buckeye followers are properly-known for it. SEC followers are. And Dallas and Steeler followers are the epitome of it interior the NFL. interestingly, your crap by no ability stinks. and then upload into the Texas perception that each and every little thing is larger and extra useful interior the Lone famous guy or woman St., and it merely kinda comes organic. the conceitedness of the whole "u . s . a .'s group" subject would not help, the two. yet...as you be attentive to, my buddy..i will unlike your group, yet I choose the followers in my opinion. You and Lemony and a few others are ok, regardless of in case you are able to in some circumstances be a tad delusional approximately how stable your group or gamers are. yet don't sense too undesirable... there's a vocal team of Colts and Patriot followers obtainable that are transforming into much extra hated than the Cowboys. So...in keeping with possibility sometime you wont root for the main hated franchise interior the NFL. It additionally in all possibility would not help that Dallas grew to become into the unique Bandwagon NFL group, the two.

These ego maniacs & their criminal coach couldn't spell "dynasty". SB trophies aren't the measure of a team's greatness. Their amazing lack of class, willingness to break the rules & their cavalier attitude about being caught all speak volumes as to the true character of this organization. They don't really deserve to be mentioned in the same sentence as the 49 ers, Cowboys, Packers, Steelers teams of the past, true dynasties.

they are not a true dynasty, everything they have won has an asterisk by it, maybe if they won a game or 2 on the up and up it would stop all the talk but until the patsie organization plays the game with some class and without cheating they will get what they deserve, being called cheaters and classless, deal with it, and i have hated them since the "tuck rule game" without that you could take away 1 of their superbowls and the superbowl after that is tainted as well, just a football fan with an opinion thats what ive seen from the patsies in the past and i dont expect it to change

Uh...The Pats won 3 Super Bowls in 4 years...(2001, 2003, 2004)

Hate is not a factor in whether a team is a dynasty...Many people hated the Colts last season...That didn't mean they were a dynasty...More than likely, like the way I felt, Peyton's damn face was everywhere in commercials...and people just got sick of it...

This is my response to another Pats hater question. (below)

I actually think they were a dynasty without being so good this year...But yes. They are official. But is a dynasty a good thing anymore....damn, people love to hate achievers.

My previous post.

First of all, I am not a Pats fan, but I am actually becoming one as a direct result of the hate and jealousy directed towards them because they know how to ball better than any other team...

I am so sick of it. The Pats this year, might turn out to be the best team ever assembled. OK, I can live with that. It is what it is.

I am actually a Redskins fan, and am not bothered by them "running up the score". I am bothered that my Redskins had it in their heads that they were inferior and went out and lived out their beliefs..

Anyway, stop hating and start appreciating. We may be witnessing the best team ever..whether we like it or not.

if its any consolation i've never liked the Pats...but i dont hate them. I hate the Redskins but thats a different story. I have never been a fan of the Pats. All it seems like I hear about are the Pats this year...i know there's something worthy of coverage as well...isn't there?

Um no you see the teams you talked about crushed their opponents in the championships they did not win on last second plays. If anything the Patriots are JV dynasty which is only good enough to serve the teams you brought up food and drinks with Brady being the head waitress.

My name is Eric Mangina and I am here to Admit that I ratted on my old team and my boss. my first season going 10-6 coaching the jets was a fluke because I now feel incompetent to carry this team to win games.

I think the media has a huge role in the "hatred" for the Pats. I don't think they deserve it completely, but as a SPORTS fan, you get tired of reading about Pats Pats Pats and seeing Pats Pats Pats on ESPN 24-7.

But truthfully, they are a dynasty in the sense that they have been very competitive for a (relatively) very long time.
